Who is Ikandi Licious? The EPK
Nigerian born and American raised female rapper and licensed pharmacist, Ikandi Licious is well known for her many collaborations with artists like Lil Flip and Cali Swag District group famous for the song "Teach me how to dougie." Ikandi Licious has opened up for artists such as Ayra Star, BNXN, Davido, Black Sherif, and many more. Ikandi Licious has connections to the Adeleke family. Although, Ikandi was raised in a middle class home, her and her family have accumulated riches over the years. Ikandi Licious's father has connection to Afrobeat artist, Wizkid since the year 2013. Although Ikandi Licious owns exotic cars like BMW, Benz, Range Rover, Bentley, and Rolls Royce, she comes from humble beginnings and allows her music to speak for her self. She gives back to the community every Christmas with proceeds she makes from different shows. Ikandi Licious is multi-talent, as she also incorporates skits into her already busy schedule. She understands the mindset of her fans, she is aware that what keeps her audience wanting more is her ability to give them a little bit of everything. Because of this, Ikandi also takes her acting as serious as she takes her music aspect of her life and her life in the medical field. Ikandi Liciois has done shows in Dubai, Paris, Bahamas, Boston, New York City, Texas, Philadelphia, Miami, Los angeles, Maine, Seattle, amongst many other cities and countries not mentioned here.
Ikandi Licious grew up with a strong love for music since the age of 13, she also wrote scripts and music for fun in the early 2000s but had no idea her experimenting with her artistic side would amount to anything in future. She could not have known she would one day become a known face in public. She was in school choir and church choir since the early age of 14 and even played the clarinet and bass clarinet in high school. She has also had very little experience with playing the piano and the drums. Although Ikandi has had some experience with playing instruments, her main focus is on her vocals. When it comes to music, she identifies as a vocalist, her main focus is on rap and afrobeat genre. Ikandi Licious gre up loving poetry and the wordplay she can create in rap. She felt she can show her lyrical capability more with rap music than any other genre and she coined herself a rapper. From time to time, Ikandi still sings and can hit a soprano occasionally, if needed.
