Memes'R'US Comedy Show
Memes'R'US is a comedy game show which will be filming and airing in 2023. This season is open to Africans, Europeans, and Americans, as the production teams are based in those particular areas. This show will showcase comedians or anyone who thinks they have the potential to be comedic. The game will start with 50 selected individuals and only 3 individuals will win in the end.
Auditions- 100 people. Only 50 of the 100 people will be chosen to be on the show. There will be 10 episodes and 1 bonus. The 1st place winner on the TV show will receive $5,000. The 2nd place winner will receive $2,500. The 3rd place winner will receive $1,000.
There is a production team shooting in parts of Africa, one team in parts of Europe and one team in parts of America. You will shoot in your Country/Continent if chosen.
On each episode, each contestant will be given 3 topics. Each contestant would have to create a funny video for all 3 topics. Each contestant would only need to pass with at a 7.5 out of 10 points on atleast one of the topics. For those who get a 7.5 on one or more topics, you will excel to the next round. For those who do not get a 7.5 or more on any of the 3 topics, those people will not make it to the following round. Those who do not make it to the following round will be able to give a 30 second speech of whether or not they believe they should have made it further in the contest or whether they could have done something else that was more humorous. Some episodes will have twists to make the season suspenseful.
There will be a bonus episode, which will serve as a cliff hanger for season 2. *HINT* Some of the contestants will come back for season 2. You will not know which individuals will be back until the final episode of season 1.
The 50 people chosen for the show will be announced in May on the 2 channels below. You must subscribe to both channels. If you are selected for the show and we see that you are not subscribed, your spot will be given to someone else.

HOW TO AUDITION:

For the audition, you will create a video eating any kind of food with a spoon that you normally would not eat with a spoon. For example, you would not normally eat chips or french fries with a spoon, which is what would make it humorous if your video has this article followed by a video of you immediately after eating french fries. The photo to the left should be part of your video. The photo on the left must be the first 3-5 seconds of your video. Your total video should not exceed 15 seconds. Any video that exceeds 15 seconds long will not be counted as an audition. The photo on the left should be the "LANDING IMAGE" of the video. This means when someone visits your instagram page, before they click on your video, they would see this image first.

The video on the left shows an example of exactly how your video should look. Remember that before anyone clicks on your video, the first thing they will see is the article and seconds later will be your funny video of you using a spoon for foods that do not require a spoon. It can be any kind of food.

FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
It is important that you follow all details below in order to be considered for the audition. If you skip steps or do not follow all the instructions, your audition will not be considered and you will not be chosen to appear on the show. We suggest that you begin your audition sooner than later. Do not wait until 2 days before to begin.
Your application is on the right side of this page. Please read the instructions before filling out your application. Once you have read and filled out the application form, you can press the back button to return to this page to confirm any details you may have missed or overlooked. Come back to this page every few days for any updates.
1. You need to create your 15 second (or less) comedy video, exactly as explained above with the celebrity in the first 3-4 seconds and your funny video immediately after.
2. You must upload the 15 second (or less) video to instagram and twitter at the same time. Do not do this on different days. You must be subscribed to the 2 youtube links before uploading the video to instagram and twitter.
3. IMPORTANT
You need to use specific hashtags in order for the talent agents to easily find you on instagram and twitter. If these hashtags are not used, your audition will not be considered.

Please use the correct list of hashtags. You must use all the hashtags and you must also create 3-5 of your own hashtags and include your own hashtags in the list provided above. Check to see that the hashtags are evenly spaced. The hashtags must be used on twitter and instagram.
4. You must send 20 people your video and those 20 people must "@" you and they must also use the exact same hashtags that you use. These 20 people can be your personal friends, family or friends online. If your instagram or twitter username is GregSmith99 then your 20 people need to say @gregsmith99 in their caption and include every single hashtag you used when they repost your video. These 20 people need to have twitter and instagram and they must post on both twitter and instagram at the same time using the same hashtags above.
5. You need to also email your video HERE once it is completed. Those who are selected for the show will see their video appear in May on the youtube channels that you followed above. Be sure to include your instagram username in the email when submitting to a talent agent. You need to also include a section in the email that says "MY LIST OF 20 PEOPLE" and underneath that have the username of the 20 people who will be reposting your video on instagram and twitter.
DEADLINE: MARCH 21

IF EVERYTHING HAS NOT BEEN SUBMITTED, YOUR AUDITION WILL NOT BE REVIEWED AND YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE TV SHOW FOR THIS SEASON.
